Frequently asked questions
What counts as an impression?
Every time someone views an email containing one of our services, and that service has fully loaded, it counts as an impression. In other words, you never pay for services in emails that are never opened.
What support is included?
Engage is self-serve: our step-by-step integration guides cover setup in HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp and other major email platforms. Priority email support with responses within 24 hours starts on Pro, and Scale comes with dedicated support and responses within 8 hours.
What happens if I go over my monthly impressions?
Nothing breaks. Your content keeps rendering and the extra impressions are billed at your plan’s overage rate: $1.00 per 1,000 on Pro and $0.80 per 1,000 on Scale. If you are regularly going over, the next plan up is usually cheaper than the overage.
How much does annual billing save?
Close to two months of service. Pro is $499 a year rather than the $588 you would pay month by month, a saving of $89. Scale is $1,999 rather than $2,388, a saving of $389.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, at any time from your account. Moving up takes effect immediately so the extra impressions are available straight away; moving down takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payments are handled by Stripe, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Enterprise accounts can be approved for invoice billing.
What happens if my payment method fails?
Nothing disappears from your subscribers’ inboxes. Your content keeps rendering and we will email you to ask for updated payment details.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel or suspend your account whenever you like. We do not offer refunds, and any outstanding fees remain payable.
