Questions about local maps
How does the map know where my subscriber is?
Location resolves at the moment the email is opened, and the map is rendered around the reader from there, so one image tag becomes a different map for every recipient.
How do I load my store locations?
Import them in bulk with the CSV tool or add them one at a time. You then set a target URL, a maximum radius and how many results a map should show.
What happens when a reader taps the map?
It opens the navigation app on their device (Android, iOS or otherwise) with directions to the location. Deep links are built in; there is no per-platform link work to do.
Can I make the map match our design?
Choose from Light, Dark, Satellite and Outdoors schemes, set marker colours and labels, and pick the exact height and width so the map fits your template.
What about subscribers with no store nearby?
That is what the maximum radius is for: set it to the distance you would actually expect somebody to travel, and readers outside it are not shown a map of a shop they will never visit.
