There are different ways to display your company logo in the Gmail inbox, but one of the most straightforward methods is creating a Gmail profile image. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Create a Google account without Gmail for your company using the format (where is the domain you are sending emails from). Once signed in, click on your profile picture in the top right corner of your screen and select “Google Account.”

Step 2: Go to your Google account settings. Click on “Personal Info & Privacy” to go to a page to edit your personal information.

Step 3: Click on “Your personal info”. This will show you the information that you’ve already provided to Google.

Step 4: Click on “Go to About me”. This will take you to a page where you can edit your profile picture.

Step 5: Click on the camera icon. This will allow you to upload an image for your profile picture. You’ll need a 250×250 company logo.

Step 6: Upload your company logo. Please select your company logo from your computer and upload it as your profile picture.

Although BIMI is another method for displaying your company logo in the inbox, it may not be the best option for every organization. BIMI requires a trademark for certification, which not all organizations will have. BIMI is currently only supported by a few email clients, including Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Fastmail, and AOL Mail. If you implement BIMI, your logo may not be displayed in other email clients.

In contrast, a Gmail profile image is a straightforward way to ensure your company logo is displayed consistently across all Gmail inboxes. While it may not be displayed in other email clients, most of your recipients are likely using Gmail or another Google service. Therefore, displaying your company logo in the Gmail inbox can still significantly impact your open rates.
